Chicago's Own, Anthony Cristiano, Talks Career & Namesake Hair Salon In The Heart Of The City

Anthony’s fashion and beauty career began in his hometown of Chicago, shooting local magazines, building his catalogue and beginning to make a name for himself in the area. His success there eventually led to the opportunity to do celebrity collaborations, fashion editorials and his industry-wide popularity. One of Anthony’s favorite Chicago collaborators and celebrity clients is Kristin Cavallari.

The two met during Cavallari’s shoot for the 2014 cover of Michigan Avenue Magazine, they continued on to collaborate for Chicago Splash, and have continued to work together ever since. In 2020, Cavallari celebrated the 1 year anniversary of her jewelry shop Uncommon James with an effortless look, styled by Anthony. More of Cristiano’s famed Chicago clientele include Sophia Bush, Jenny McCarthy and Edie van Halen. Though his career drew him away from Chicago for a time, full circle brought him back to found his namesake salon at the heart of the city.
